RELAIS MAHANA

A fresh new start for Relais Mahana! Tahiti Yacht Charter (TYC) bought the Relais Mahana in August 2013.  The charter company owns a fleet of 25 catamarans that are fully equipped with crew and amenities. The combination of the Relais Mahana and TYC will provide exclusive “surf and turf” packages in the Leeward Islands starting in Fall 2013. There will be  new non-motorized activities free of charge for all guests. Activities will include biking, kayaking, snorkeling and stand up paddle boarding. The hotel also recently welcomed a new chef who features an exciting new menu. This property is near the heart of Avea Bay.  It is a  three star accomodation in my estimation and the beach is lovely.  A rental car is necessary from this far end of the island to visit the main village of Fare.
